bookman vs. palatino

bookman and palatino are both serif typefaces. Bookman is more rounded and palatino is more pointy/angular. the x height of bookman is shorter than palatino's.  bookman has a wider set-width compared to palatino.

yes

Engravers Roman vs. Kabel Medium
Engravers is a serif typeface and Kabel is a sans serif.
Engravers has many modulations from thick to thins.  Kabel is a solid stroke throughout.
Both typefaces have distinguishable qualities about them. For instance. Kabel has shortened arms like in the lowercase "f" and.. shortened legs (?) like in the lowercase "j".
In Engravers, there are no differences between upper and lower case. I guess essentially, there is no lower case in engravers. Kabel has a short x-height.. Engravers doesn't really have one.. since they're all caps..

gah... i hate doing this..

okay .. this is officially getting hard..
but as for this weeks typeface comparisions..
Garamond vs. Baskerville
Both typefaces have serifs.
The set-width in baskerville is more than in garamond.
It seems like the x-heights are about the same for both typefaces..
Garamonts serifs are more rounded at the end compared to baskervilles.
The modulation in baskerville is more drastic than in garamond..
