Comparison:Franklin Gothic has a much heavier weight than Futura. The set width of Franklin is also wider than Futura. Both typefaces are sans serif fonts. The cap height is greater is Futura than in Franklin. The x-height in Futura is also much lower than the x-height in Franklin.
